Announcement of Sibling Discount for International Students

International students enrolled at our university,

According to Article 3, Paragraph 2 of the Presidential Decree published on July 15, 2023:

“Foreign students who will register under the quotas for accepting students from abroad, whose family and themselves have obtained residence permits in Turkey; in cases where more than one student from the same family continues their education at state higher education institutions, a discount of not less than 25% will be applied to the tuition fees determined for these students by the relevant higher education institutions.”

Based on the relevant article, a 30% discount will be applied to the tuition fees for students wishing to benefit from the existing discount (Senate Decision 12.10.2023).

Additionally, international students wishing to benefit from the discount under the relevant article must submit the following documents at the beginning of each semester:

• Application Letter
• Residence Permit Documents for the Family and the Student
• Student Certificate for the Student
• Student Certificate of Another Family Member Enrolled in a State Higher Education Institution

NOTE: Applications submitted with incomplete or incorrect documents will not be evaluated.

Applications:

• Associate and Bachelor’s degree students should apply to the Student Affairs Office of the Rectorate.
• Students enrolled in Master’s and Doctoral programs should apply to the Graduate Education Institute.
